Waiting for Water

Shot over 2 days in Chemwono Village, Kenya, “Waiting For Water” shows the hardships of living in a community without access to clean drinking water.  The Pokot Tribe in Northern Kenya occupies a vast swath of rural land with little rainfall.  The most reliable option for clean water is through drilling wells.  Pokot Outreach Ministries, led by Reuben Meriakol, has drilled over 300 wells in the past 20 years, providing clean drinking water to over 150,000 people.  With a total population of 1.5 million, many more wells are still needed.  This is a solvable problem.  Through your generosity and partnership, POM will be able to replace its failing water rig and continue the work of bringing clean water and hope to this people group.
